So I've been saving the skulls from the animals I've harvested this year. I want to do european mounts with them and I found this image while looking for details online. According the post this was burned into the skull. Being a photographer I instantly starting trying to figure out a way to do this with a photographic process. Van Dyke? Liquid Light? I'm not sure but I'm determined to figure it out now.

Bagh'Dad's Gonna Kill Me'
So we've definitely been slacking with the blog but hopefully that will change soon.
So this song was on Sons Of Anarchy when I first heard it. It fit the show very well in episode one of season three. And I'm looking forward to seeing what other tunes they throw in this season.
It's very clear what the songs about and I couldn't image how if feels to be one of our boys over seas. But I think the line "Nobody loves me here" sums it up.

Panheads Forever-David Allan Coe
She's hard to get started
She's always so cold
In the mornings I find her -
She's looking so old
There's so many miles
I've been down that road once or twice
She's not much to look at
When we ride through town
But I know when the chips fall
She won't let me down
She knows how to run
And she don't run around on her man
She's a high flying lady
She takes me where I want to be
There's no other woman
Standing between her and me
I'll always be faithful
And keep her 'til the end of time
God knows I'll always love
That old Panhead of mine
I've seen fancy dressers
And they've caught my eye
I rode'em to ride'em
Then I told them goodbye
I flirted with Low Riders
Sportsters and Shovelheads too
I've cussed her and beat her
And kicked her to just get her started
A couple of times
You might think I'm crazy
But I love that Panhead of mine.

Facebook Privacy
I read the following article on USAtoday.com today and it really made me mad.
Senators see privacy problem in Facebook expansion
Four US Senators sent a letter to facebook saying they need to do more to protect the privacy of thier users. While this may or may not be true, we need to remember that everyone that uses facebook does so by choice. It is meant for entertainment. The user is in complete control of his own profile. If he posts his bank account number and credit card information, it is his responsibility and not that of facebook's. If an employee posts a picture of himself hitting a bong in senior week and subsequntly gets fired, it was his responsibilty; it was not the responsibility of facebook to protect him.
Likewise, doesn't the Senate have anything better to be doing? Is Senator Schumer worried that facebook will expose his bizarre taste in porn? I would not be surprised if most Senators spent more time on facebook than actually talking to constituents. We are fighting two wars, are over $10 trillion in debt, and have absolutely no way to pay for all of the government liabilities over the next few decades. These Senators should find something else to do other than bully around facebook.
If you don't like what facebook is doing, delete your account. If enough people do it, they lose money and change thier ways. That is how a free market and a free country works.

NFL Draft
As obsessed as I am with the NFL, I've never watched the entire first round of a draft. I've spent a good amout of time listening to the experts of Sirius NFL radio over the last month, and of course it only took a few picks to really shake up their predictions. Everything was basically going as expected until the Raiders took Rolando Mcclain at number 8, who is a great player but most wouldn't expect to be taken so high
I'm sure the big story tomorrow will be all of Denver's moves to take Tim Tebow. Who would have thought it would have been with Baltimore's original pick. I still haven't decided how I think Tebow will do in the NFL. He seems like a great guy who is passionate about the game, but the same could be said of Kyle Boller. Josh Mcdaniels is staking his entire career on Tebow. I haven't been a huge fan of Mcdaniels; trading your best two players because you can't get along with them is no way to win. It also probably would have been better for Tebow to go to a team where he could sit for a few years, but this is why we play the game.
Denver Quarterback Tim Tebow... and his girlfriend
As for Baltimore, I was really hoping they could nab Jermaine Gresham, the tight end out of Oklahoma. As expected, he was picked up by the Bengals. I was getting really excited when it looked as if Dez Bryant was going to fall to us, but Dallas had to snake in and take him. I've heard all about how this years draft is so deep and there is much better value in the later rounds, so I'm pretty confident they did the right thing by trading out.
During the draft I made one bold prediction: Detroit will win at least six games this year. I promised to put it in writing so here it is. They've improved thier defensive line tremendously, and I'm a huge fan of Calvin Johnson. Matt Stafford showed that he has some guts last year, and if he doesn't get hurt he should have a decent season.
